Ms. Del Santo has earned numerous awards for her work, including a 2002 National Emmy Award for her powerful story on Organ Donation and Transplant. This honor follows her 1997 Peabody Award for a compelling documentary on Hospice Care and Breast Cancer.
 
Florence gained national and international news experience working with every major network. Among her many bureau stints working as a writer/producer, she covered Gorbachev's rise to power, famine in Africa, and war throughout the Middle East. She was with CNN at its inception. 
 
Most recently, Florence has put her media experience to use as a media coach and consultant for senior executives at leading companies, including The Boston Globe, The Christian Science Monitor, Deutsche Telecomm's TSystems Communications, The Learning Network, Palomar Medical Technologies and Zymark Inc.  She helps her clients develop effective presentation skills and media strategies.
 
Florence is an active member of Boston Woman in Business Connection.  She is a communications graduate (with honors) from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University.
